The days after Christmas are filled with lovely memories and also melancholy as everything gets put away to wait for the next year.
Rudd’s text is a sing-songy rhyme that forces you to sing along, instead of enjoying the story. I would have preferred to be able to linger on each page instead of feeling I needed to rush off. The sentiment is nice, but it is not a Christmas book and only kind of a winter book.
