AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
An owner and dog are out for a walk. When the owner throws a stick for fetch, the dog finds a surprise and a new friend.
The illustrations are very sweet and I love the sweep of little birds as they move across the page. The story, however, is not particularly interesting. So a delight to look at, but without staying power.
