Squizzard, a squid, and Toothy, a shark, are friends at Seaweed Elementary, but can they stay that way after Squizzard teases Toothy and ruins his school project? Squizzard has to learn to think less of him self and more of others.
As an introduction to graphic novels for the newly independent reader, this book isn’t as creative as Dog Man, but it has some nice features, like fun facts about sea life and an age appropriate life lesson. The art is fun and colorful, and a relevant storyline that will engage young readers.
