A ball is thrown, and a pack of various types of dogs run after it. See Me Play follows the journey of the ball. The dogs follow everywhere the ball goes. They follow a bird in a hot air balloon, and in a boat to get it from a whale, etc. Eventually, the ball ends by getting swallowed by a lion. Then the dogs see a person holding a stick and get excited all over again.
See Me Play has excellent artistry that grabs your attention, and the text is very simple for young readers. An early reader would feel very accomplished in reading this book. The child would not become too frustrated, as all the words are quite simple and each page only contains 5 or less words.
