Prince Bertram was a naughty boy. He terrorized the entire town. His parents tried to punish him without success. One day, while he was throwing rocks out a window at birds, he happened to accidentally hit a witch. She turned him in to a dragon. As a dragon, everyone in town was mean to him. He ran away in to the wilderness, and even all the animals were mean to him. Eventually, winter came, and he came across someone buried in snow. He helped the person out, and warmed them up with his fire breath. It was the witch that turned him in to a dragon. She realized he was now good, and changed him back in to a little boy.
Prince Bertram the Bad is a wonderful story, and shows that even if consequences do not happen right away, karma will eventually catch up to a bad person. Only when the person changes their ways and are kind and thoughtful towards others, can their luck turn back around. While this may or may not always truly pan-out in real life, it is a great lesson to teach children.
