AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE

The little boy is getting ready to go to kindergarten. He is quite excited as he brushes his teeth, washes his face, and gets dressed. He takes the bus to school and believes that he is the king of the kindergarten. This gives him confidence and excitement to attend and be comfortable. He plays well with others, and shares. The King of Kindergarten book continues to talk about what goes on in a day of kindergarten. And then he goes home having had the best day.

The King of Kindergarten is excellent for exciting and encouraging a child who might be nervous to enter kindergarten. It is positive and adds excitement to the idea. The artistry is vibrant and well-done.
