She wants the child to see the magic in the sunrise, the rain, her own laugh and heartbeat, and the creatures of the earth. But the mother is worried for her child because the world is going through climate change and she must cherish everything she sees and take care of it. With all the change that is coming, how can the child build a new world?
Heglar has created a story celebrating the Earth and also acknowledging the problems. I enjoyed her thoughts and the dazzling illustrations. The text is simple for young readers.
