Lola is excited to visit her friend Zola, who keeps bees on the roof of her apartment building. Lola even has a special suit to wear so that she can see inside the hive.
A nice first introduction to bees to our littlest friends. I like that Lola has a bee suit to wear to protect her around the hives and that Zora encourages Lola to grow wildflowers to help the bees. All of the people in the illustrations are Black.
