Meet 27 animals of all different types, see the homes they build, and read a short poem about each.
The illustrations are gorgeous - interesting details to explore, full of life and movement. I am not personally fond of poetry - especially for non-fiction topics. While the book might be considered non-fiction, there is a lot of personification - delving into the minds of the animals - which makes it feel more like fiction. And I wish the little blurbs in the back matter were included on the page for the animal.
