Julie loved mangos, and she had a mango tree in her front yard. Julie went out to get a mango, but they were up too high and there were none that had fallen from the tree. She tried to wait for one to drop, jump, climb the tree, and finally to ask it nicely, but nothing worked. How long will Julie have to wait to get a delicious mango? 

Julie and the Mango Tree had me feeling like I needed a taste of a juicy mango as well. The recipes included at the end look delicious. I really liked the vibrant colors in the illustrations that capture and beauty and feel of the Caribbean islands.
