In every life there are smiles, light, hope, sadness comfort mysteries, tears and love.
Marla Frazee's illustrations are gorgeous. Each pages remembers a different aspect of life with various representations of children, teens, adults, families even the elderly and their experiences. Some 2 page spreads of a single picture as well - I wanted to gather my kids and climb that mountain, or sit by that lake. An amazing picture book I highly recommend. I do think the adults will appreciate it more than the kids, though. a mix of everything, ages, cultures, abilities, races. Everyone will see themselves.
