A child writes a letter to the family car 'Bob" thanking it for the safe travels, fun times and memories.
I loved the connection of the family car to all the things the family did together. The illustrations were fun, with awesome facial expressions on the characters. Maybe more nostalgic than story though, I think this might be loved more by the parents and older children who have accumulated some of the same kids of memories than the kids who would be reading the picture book.. The family is Native American (Wichita and Cherokee). Several words are incorporated into the story, and are defined in the glossary.
