Two poets play with language and imagination in this picture book that is divided into the four elements - fire, water, air, and earth.

Even though this is a picture book, I would hesitate to use this with younger audiences because I don’t think they would fully understand the abstract nature. It could be used with older students (MS/HS) as a mentor text for creative writing classes or units on poetry, but I would imagine it would have a low appeal to most kid audiences in a school library.
