As each child is teased a little about their “exotic” lunch, they go home and ask for a sandwich instead. But they quickly get bored of sandwiches and proudly bring their food of choice the next week.
Based on the real childhood experiences of four chefs! I love the heartfelt interactions and the pride each child shows in their heritage. Great for those first days of school when kids may or may not yet appreciate what each other brings for lunch from home.
