It is winter, and Logan, who uses a wheelchair, has many cool weather plants in his family’s greenhouse. Logan is planning a pet playdate in the greenhouse with some friends, and wants to find some carrots for his party. He finds sweet potatoes, leeks, brussels sprouts, garlic bulbs, radishes, oranges, beets, pears, and turnips. Will he ever find carrots for his pet party?

Logan’s greenhouse is meant to be interactive for young nature lovers as they hunt for visual clues to find the carrots. A whimsical gecko helps them out. I enjoyed the cute story, and I really adored the fun illustrations. I expected to see a bunny eating the carrot at the party but instead, it was offered to a dog who also surprisingly enjoys a carrot snack. Logan is white.
