Dragonflies have been around for 300 million years. They start as naiads, living many years in the water before growing wings. They come in a variety of colors and can be found almost everywhere, even near desert pools. Dragonflies must make use of what little time they have. 

A most delightful book!. It is not only professionally written but has the most exquisitely bright and beautiful illustrations. The art captured my soul.
