Encounter is a super hero who can shape shift. He is on earth to protect and hide pods that
would give others power to shift as well.
He has a trusty side-kick in his talking dog, Barko and human girl named
Kayla who coaches them on the superhero duties.
Different villains come for Encounter, but he staves them off, until
aliens arrive claiming Encounter is a criminal.
The illustrations are bright and attractive, but the story line felt
like it was all over the place. Each
villain is like a different chapter, but its predictability made the story line
boring. The ending came together but
there is going to be another book. The
violence was a villain threatens to kick a dog and superhero fighting.
