Rhyming text accompanies gouache illustrations of two children playing in nature and using their imaginations as they explore. The illustrations are beautiful in this encouragement to get outside and play. At first, I thought the figurative language was too deep for the target audience, but it would serve as a good way to start a conversation about imagination. The children in the illustrations are various races.
