Outside, dark storm clouds are brewing. A young brother comes to show his sister how he added lines to her artwork. She was so mad! Just like that storm outside, she wants to yell and feels anger in her tummy. Her grandpa takes for her for walk to calm down and to learn more about thunder storms. She starts to realize that her emotions are similar to dark storms. Hopefully when she gets back home, she can forgive her brother. He just wanted to be like her.
I liked the message that this book teaches young readers, however the story didn't grab me. It was too obvious about the connection between storms and emotions. My daughter enjoyed it because of the illustrations and because the girl liked to draw.
