This is a fascinating informational picture book about freshwater. Even though our planet is mostly covered by water, did you realize that only a small amount is actually drinkable? You can trace the journey of water, starting with glaciers all the way to the Great Lakes. You can learn how the Great Lakes were formed and how they are all interconnected. This book is full of interesting facts with great illustrations to help explain concepts.

My daughter and I liked this book because it taught a lot of interesting facts. We never realized that the Great Lakes were the youngest major geological feature on the planet. The illustrations did a great job helping to explain all of the big numbers that were talked about in the book.
