Trash Truck and Hank are excited that Christmas is arriving soon.
I like that the illustrations aren’t taken as clips from the animated series. Instead, they are drawn for the book, giving them more depth and interest. I haven’t seen the show, so I was able to appreciate the book - the only thing lacking was an early connection between the boy and the truck - I didn’t know they are best friends from what I read, so I was a bit surprised to see the Truck inside the boy’s house at the end. Hank is white.
