The aliens have come to Earth to play and now it is time to go home. But they don’t wanna! THere are so many more things they need/want to do!
Parents with little aliens of their own will empathize with all of the things the aliens still want to do - because the parents have heard all of the excuses and whining before. Whether children will see themselves in the aliens remains to be seen, but reading it will still be enjoyable. I love that you can follow certain aliens from page to page, too.
