The S’more is not sure that being a s’more is enough, so he tries out being other kinds of sweets. Then he tries doing things and going places. What he finally realizes is that everything he has done has helped him become himself - and that is more than enough.
S’more is very cute and the book manages to be only slightly preachy on the way to its point. The back matter is filled with all kinds of advice and information that kids won’t read. But hopefully YOU as a trusted adult will read it and guide kids through the different developmental stages of their lives.
