The King has declared today to be Book Day and he does all kinds with them - except for reading. At the end of the day he throws the books away in the handy moat, but thai upsets the moat monster. Maybe if he finally reads one of the books he can figure out how to fix this problem with some help?
Kids will delight in the antics of the king as he uses books for very un-booklike ways. I enjoyed the other creatures trying to help the king. The very last page gives a little homage to the kings i Robin Hood.
