A young boy enjoys being outside in nature and observing the world around him. He sees frogs, old rusty bikes, and likes to play in the rain. His dad helps him learn about the world around him. When his dad goes to live in a different house, the boy and his dad are still able to strengthen their bond by exploring outside. Even though puddles might come and go, their love for each other doesn't.
I liked this book's message, but the plot seemed a little slow. My five-year-old daughter was not engaged and thought the plot was a little boring. The illustrations were cute and went well with the text.
