It's a stormy day but then the sun comes out. Baby Chick and baby Lamb decide to put on their rainboots to go outside. Lamb can't do it. Chick encourages Lamb to keep trying. Lamb finally gets his boots on. When they go outside, baby Chick can't walk through the puddle. Lamb encourages baby Chick. Will baby Chick ever get past the large puddle to play in the yard?
Loney has created an encouraging book to help toddlers learn to keep trying instead of giving up. The pictures and words are fun and simple. I liked the note to parents at the end with some great advice for helping a child learn to persevere.
