A little boy is excited to go fishing with his grandfather. He has told all his friends that he will catch the biggest fish! He learns about daddy fish that takes care of their babies until the babies are big enough to live on their own in the river.
A beautiful book with the most amazing illustrations. The story is beautifully told and I learned that there are fish in the Amazon that protect their babies thill they are big enough to survive in the river on their own. these daddy fish are really big. I could feel the little boys excitement at catching the biggest fish and understand the decision he made. A really good read. I highly recommend this book. Read it to children, grandchildren and students.
