Henley hates reading – no matter how hard he tries, he can’t find a book that speaks to him. When his teacher asks the class to bring their favorite book to school the next day, he goes many places searching and asking for help. Finally, something his mother says strikes a chord and he has an idea.
Robertson’s illustrations are bright and cheerful. The story is kind of interesting, but I feel like the idea of writing a picture book about yourself in order to have a favorite book in the world is just okay.
