The red panda Dao You takes Emma and Ethan through time to learn about the history of anime and manga. Starting in the 12th century and going through to the present, Emma and Ethan discover how these Japanese cartoons came to influence the world!
The Asian Hall of Fame series is a wonderful addition to every library since schools tend to focus on the Western world and cut out how amazing Asia is. While the text is brief and not very in depth, the illustrations bring history to life and engage readers. Amara and Chin have put together a wonderful introduction that will start a new anime-loving generation.
