While exploring the attic two boys find a magnifying glass. They start looking through it and discover a lot of things that are hard to see with just your eyes. They see a mall ant, all the details on a butterfly, a snail and many other wonderful things.
The illustrations in this book are so happy and fun. I could feel the boys' excitement as they were looking through the magnifying glass. This is a great book for beginning readers, with the happy illustrations and big print. It would be so fun, after reading this with a child, to go out and look at things in the garden or the park through a magnifying glass. Those experiences and discoveries are magical.
