The plants and animals around Rock think his life must be very boring since he can’t move, but Rock explains that he has actually done and seen a lot over the course of the earth’s history and is very happy with his life.
This is a great book on geology and the changes the earth has seen and I predict readers won’t even realize they are learning until the final page that breaks down the time periods. As a bonus to being a great curriculum book it also has a great message about the different ways we all live our lives and being gentle with each other.
