May has lived with her Grama for several years – so far through 5th grade. Not only does she go off to space camp one summer, but she also gets chosen for a mission in space. As the rocket is ready to launch, however, May refuses to leave without Grama’s hug.
Elementary school is definitely one of those ages where many little kids dream of flying into space. Be ready to suspend belief, because when a 10 year old gets called up to be an astronaut, it will be difficult for the adults in the room to swallow.
