Princess Alice misplaces her beloved blankie one day and ends up following a trail of leads to a kindhearted dragon who needed something cuddly (like the blankie!) to get to sleep. Feeling bad for causing the dragon distress when she demands her blankie back, Alice retraces her trail to help find something soft and cuddly (a giant Teddy Bear!) for her new dragon friend.
This a great little story about friendship and helping others. Its written in a lilting rhyme that makes for a fun read aloud, and younger audience will surely enjoy hearing about the scary dragon who is actually a softy at heart. The message is straightforward enough; I think this would be a fun bedtime read for kids.
