Language: G (0 swears, 0 “F”); Mature Content: G; Violence: G

BUYING ADVISORY: EL, MS - ESSENTIAL

AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH

When Kiranmala woke up on her twelfth birthday, she thought all was normal until her parents disappeared, and demon slammed through her house, and two brothers showed up to kill it. When Kiranmala is told she is a princess from another world, she brushes it off until her fantastical journey to save her parents reveals secrets kept from long ago.

I loved this book. Following Indian mythology and the struggles of a girl to find out who she is was really enjoyable. This is definitely a book for those who enjoy reading Rick Riordan or authors similar to that.
