This is a really fantastic atlas--with lots of fold out maps and other tabs--highlighting dinosaurs and where in the world their fossils have been discovered. Along with that straightforward information, there is copious other info about fossil hunting, famous paleontologists, how pterosaurs flew, and so much more!
This is a wonderful book for any dinosaur fan. There is so much information and fabulous illustrations and photos that accompany all that. My son and I both loved all the fold-out maps and other tabs you could pull down for more info. The organization of the book is great and easy to follow as it moves through Earth's various continents. Kids of all ages would love this but the fact of all its pull out elements makes it better suited for personal ownership--a wonderful gift!--than a library where it would likely get destroyed pretty fast.
