Everything You takes on a fun approach
into how much a parent loves his/her child.
“You’re everything HOPEFUL. You’re everything FRESH. You’re everything
GENTLE” The adjectives on each page are typed in all caps. This book could be used for a unit on parts
of speech. A new edition could be
written and illustrated by each student having them fill in the blanks with
adjectives to describe themselves.
There
is one thing that this book has going for it-the illustrations! The parent/child illustrations are so tender and
lovable. The colors are unique and
fun. The plot concept is sweet yet we
felt that the execution wasn’t met. We
simply felt like some of the rhyming was a stretch in order keep it a rhyming
book.
