The little donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem, delights in the wonders of the stable and the events of the Babe’s birth.

Dreamy illustrations are the highlight here, but Kellum’s sparse rhyming text does work as a read aloud (I tried it). Definitely a book I will buy for my personal collection.
