BUYING ADVISORY: Pre-K, EL (K-3) - ADVISABLE
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Bob (though he prefers Blob) is told by the narrator that he can be anything – and takes Bob through many animal shapes. Blob, on the other hand has other ideas of what he might be, but in the end decides that being himself is best, and he can still do many of the things he dreamed of.
Blob is adorable. His angst is so relatable and on par for kids who are trying to figure out who they are. I can totally see a class brainstorming other ideas for Blob and making a display of Blob drawings.
