Gus is a dog who really doesn't seem to like anything. He doesn't like to be pet, or to go for walks, or play, or even birthdays. But the new puppy seems to think Gus likes everything that he does with him, including baths, hugs and especially sausages.
Oh, social cues! I loved this story - it's so obvious that Gus still doesn't like things but the new puppy just believes the best, and readers, you are in for a treat, because, like my grandpa, Gus will surprise you in the end. The illustrations are hilarious and the story is so sweet.
