Ordonez's illustrations are delightful. Susan Middleton Elya incorporates Spanish vocabulary into her poetry like a pro! I love her other titles - La Princesa and the Pea and Madre Goose, and this is just as fun. Often the Spanish words rhyme with each other - which makes the poem so easy to read - even if you aren't a Spanish speaker.
