Raina from Smile, is now in 4th grade. One day she wakes up and some bad food makes her throw up. Now she is afraid she's going to throw up more. When she gets to school everything is weird, because her friends already have their periods and they exclude Raina because she hasn't. Her parents get her a therapist to talk to and work through the drama of growing up and changing.
Raina shows real strength through puberty, bullies, puke, and being sick. Even if you aren’t a girl you can find something to relate to her. I don’t like how her siblings weren’t in it, but other than that it was great.
