Partridge gives us a succinct, but still very informative book about the building process. It is a bit denser than many recent picture books, but still very engaging. Some things aren’t explained until the back matter - like who are the children in the book and why are they so prominent in the story? A definite purchase for any community within use of the Golden Gate Bridge. Most other schools will probably only want it if they have a teacher who uses bridge building as part of their science curriculum.
