Every time Philippa Pheasant crosses Old Oak Road, she is nearly hit by a car. When she sees a school crossing guard, she makes herself one of those bright yellow outfits. Now, she is able to stop traffic and help all the woodland animals cross Old Oak Road.
I'm chuckling over this book. Silly situations but presented perfect seriously. This small Pheasant in her little traffic uniform! The illustrations are adorable, the text is fun as well. I can see reading this again and again. Always cross the road safely!
