A mix between a picture book and a graphic novel, this book covers all the basics about hawks - their family tree, their eating habits, their biology and main traits. The main text has a formal tone while the speech bubbles are hawks talking in a boastful and silly tone.  

The cover of this book claims that it contains “seriously funny facts about your favorite animals” and while the facts are interesting and fun, this book didn’t land as particularly funny. The illustrations and flow of this book have a lot of energy and will be engaging for young readers and useful for animal reports.
