On his way back from France, Christopher Rowe and his friends are caught in a huge storm and tossed up on England’s shores – only Christopher is alone and he has no memory. Slowly things come back to him, but not before he is confronted with a greater mystery – children are disappearing. For some reason he is determined to help, even if it puts himself and his friends, when they find him, in mortal danger.
Plenty of danger and explosions and mystery. Even some smart sword play and pirates. Just one small problem for me --- how can Christopher have a mortal enemy (The Raven) and not encounter him in this book? I got over it, because the adventure is so good, but that doesn’t stop me from wondering.
