Horse and dog want to climb a tree. Dog goes first. Almost immediately they run into trouble. Horse help dog. Dog finally gets up. But how is he going to get down? Horse tries many ways to get the dog down. The snow is coming down heavier and heavier. Will the dog be able to get down from the tree? Dog is scared but the horse is sure things will be OK.
"This is a “my first graphic novel” and it even has instructions on how to read a graphic novel. A delightful book with full page color pictures that really bring out their predicament. Good reading aloud, or also good for kids to read parts. One student could read the dog parts and another could read the horse part. A great chance to work on fluency and expression. I recommend this book.
