Sorrell and Goodnight teach children counting and the many preparations that go into a Native American Powwow.
Goodnight’s pictures are colorful and happy and show action. I think little children would be very interested in this and it would be a great jumping off point for discussion of Powwows and other Native American festivities and customs. I recommend this book.
