The forest animals are ready to begin their Thanksgiving feast but Turkey is nowhere to be found. Each animal goes out and asks him to join them but each time he declines. Where is Turkey going on Thanksgiving Day?
I enjoyed the illustrations. However, the story did not make sense to me and the rhyming was inconsistent and forced. Why did the turkeys need to have a separate meal from the other animals when they planned to invite them to join anyway?
