Childhood milestones from birth to heading off to school are highlighted in this book. The milestones are woven through with the message that parents are proud of their children wherever they go and whatever they accomplish.
A fun, engaging book with simple words that deliver an important message. The couple of pages at the end of the book fold out to make two large pages. When I unfolded the page it tore a little at the edge. Because of this, I don't think it would be very durable in a library setting. The adults and children pictured in the book represent a wide diversity of cultures and races.
