Mr. Cat is grumpy, friendless, and alone in his house until a mysterious letter lands on his head that says, "I love You." He usually thinks that it is better to be a lonely cat than a disappointed one, but suddenly he feels happy. Who could have sent the letter? Mr. Cat leaves his house to find out. He helps three strangers who don't even thank him. He decides to stop trying and go home. Will he ever find out who loves him?
I really enjoyed Verdu's philosophical tale about how we need to be a friend to others first if we want to be happy and have friends. I also liked the cute storytelling illustrations.
